Dance Program Class Descriptions
We want to make sure each student is in the class that will best help them grow. If dancers are placed in a class that is too difficult, they will become frustrated, fall behind, and risk injury. If the class is not challenging enough, and the dancer is past the technical level of the class, students get bored and lose interest in not only the class, but dance in general. Students who are new to Gather Dance Studio will be evaluated their first two weeks to ensure proper placement. We will help returning students to choose the best classes for them based on their work and growth from the previous year. Ages for classes are, in most cases, guidelines. We will evaluate each student to make sure they are in the correct classes.
